What to put in the box if you have it.
A sentence is enough. This is here because these are the answers that turn a first reply into a real one.
- What has to happen
A general session, a concert, a festival stage, an awards night, a ribbon cutting, a meeting. What the room is for decides more than its size does.
- Where, and when
The building or the field, the date, and how many days on site either side of it. A soft date is fine and a room that is still a maybe is fine — knowing which of the two is unsettled is the useful part.
- Roughly how many
And how they are seated or standing. A number to the nearest hundred is worth more than an exact one that arrives three weeks later.
- Indoors or outdoors
Outdoors changes the power, the structures and the weather plan rather than just the equipment. It is the single answer that changes the most.
- Who else is watching
Recorded, streamed, or fed to anybody. It changes the lighting and the audio design, not only the camera line, so it is worth saying at the start rather than a week out.
